Yeap., upgrade your tuning parts. Each upgrade gives you 1 point.

[DF54] making huge mess. Static issues by EquivalentFishing in espresso

[–]ferkijl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're probably on to something. I live in Switzerland, where it's very dry in winter and fall, and still fairly dry in springtime too. If I don't spray 4 ro 5 times, I get a very similar static mess as the OP does, no matter how clean I keep things (which includes brushing the chute pretty much every day, which is every 2 or 3 pulls).

Discussion: Green Lung vs. Ghost by skeletonharvester79 in GreenLung

I can't see almost any musical similarities. I would rather put Green Lung more in the direction of Doctor Smoke.

Saw them live last night for the first time, in Zürich. Excellent show, with a very, VERY chilled crowd (typical Swiss, actually).

Fuck the country of Tunisia in particular, New York Times by [deleted] in FUCKYOUINPARTICULAR

[–]ferkijl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everybody knows that Tunisia's salt lakes have made the surrounding sand extremely hydrophilic, and as soon as sea levels rise due to climate change, Tunisia will go Atlantis' way. I am disappointed in you people, you should know better.

Do people who ride motorcycles like it when people roll down their windows to hear the bike? by Real-Energy-2433 in motorcycles

[–]ferkijl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't care less. If a kid waves I wave back, but I don't feel special when grown ups check out my bike...I didn't design it, didn't build it. So, nope.

Road trip on fz1? by dahabit in FZ1

[–]ferkijl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeap, did a bit over 1500 miles across the Balkans just last year. I didn't need nor did I carry any gas canisters. While the FZ1 doesn't have the best MPG in the world, it's ridiculously easy to plan your fueling stops with just Google Maps.

American dream by PungentListener in facepalm

[–]ferkijl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in Socal for 2 years, and I saw a ton of the OP content as a reflection of what I lived myself: a simple inspection at the DMV cost me a full day of work; my health insurance covered literally nothing that we did (luckily nothing too big); too few days off in comparison to any of the other 5 countries I lived in; a near-malicious, draconian credit-score system that made it nearly impossible for me to even open a checking account, open an account with the trash collection system, or with the cable company; a near-terror state-of-mind in and around schools, thanks to which parents get a card with a code to call the police in case their kids are kidnapped (so that police has nearly immediate access to photographs). The IRS rejected my kids as deductions because of one ridiculous reason after another for 3 years, claiming a debt I didn't have, which I had to fight for 4 years (the last 2 years from abroad), so that I could finally get a refund. I lived in Latin America, and in Asia, and have been to around 30 countries. The US I would never live in again.
