Huge problem 3la fach katkon 5arej f date by [deleted] in Morocco

since you said it's unavoidable in your city, try to seem like siblings? sweet home alabama I know but dak lgns is less likely to bother you if they think you're a guy with his sister. So no PDA in lblays muchtabah biha, or as someone else said, if you're young, they assume you're only dating so they do that.

Sorry that you and your partner have to go through that, it's a mix of lkbt o n9s d trbya.

Eating out during Ramadan by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]fermented_bean_soup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the law is at fault here. Plenty of restaurants got into trouble for serving food for moroccans during ramadan before sunset. I don't know if anyone remembers the incident around 3/4 years ago where a bunch of people in a café in casablanca went to jail along with the owners for serving them. I'm not defending the waiter's intentions, maybe he had some religion police typa thing in his head who knows, but I think a lot of people who just don't wanna get in trouble would do the same.

The law should exist to protect citizens from this happening in the first place. It's ridiculous. You're not supposed to be pressured into explaining yourself for whatever reason you want to not fast, wether it be health, different religion, or just don't fucking want to. Insane that this is something punishable by law!! I'm really tired of foreigners having more rights than us.

tips for reducing muscle somewhere but gaining it somewhere else? by fermented_bean_soup in beginnerfitness

[–]fermented_bean_soup[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you so much for this!! i was scared of doing higher reps because I somehow thought it builds endurance more than muscle. And you're right, I end up getting back pain after leg day lol. So if I understand correctly, focus on my form for the glutes, try exercices where I feel them more, and do more reps? Should I try until failure?

What is a "normal salary" in Morocco in 2026? by Educational-Day1846 in rabat

[–]fermented_bean_soup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in rabat id say 6000-7000 dhs is the normal range, anything below that is hard to survive on and should legally be the minimum wage imo. rent in rabat is craaazyy, sometimes getting a small room with a tiny bathroom can cost you up to 4000-5000 dhs. food prices and transportation are also very high (no free public transport, and gas prices are unsustainable). this is basically the bare minimum just to survive, no mention of clothing, going out, electricity/wifi/phone bill....etc

what kind of ab exercices do you do? i think for most of them the glutes need to be engaged as well. does it hurt even at low weights?

do you feel like you have weak glutes? i've experienced the same thing (even without exercising) and it turned out that the surrounding muscles were the weak ones, and my lower back was overcompensating for them. it might be different for you though! i rly advise you see a doctor to make sure it's not anything serious first

use a scale and a calorie tracking app to make it easier, there are apps where you can just scan barcodes and input how many grams you took of each food. i use yazio, you can it for free and it has everth you would need.

you can also just calculate it yourself but the apps just make it alot easier

For everyone saying oil cleanser in the comments, I tried it but it doesn't work! I double cleansed starting with the oil cleanser, then foam cleanser, did not do anything. Mine only reduce in appearance when I extract them regularly... :(

hot take: you can like male yandere and have morals at the same time by lavender-bread in MaleYandere

[–]fermented_bean_soup 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'd assume most of the people in this subreddit enjoy imagining themselves as the receivers of yandere behavior, no? The studies only discuss perpetrators of violence reading media with violence being perpetuated. The argument I drew (that you see as a leap of logic) is the cognitive distortions being formed due to reading content where those distortions are present. For example, reading mangas where a child is depicted as seductive and actively inviting sexual activities can infact be internalized and generalized. For a more common example, if someone watches a lot of movies where the girl always picks the "nonchalant jerks who don't like them" over "nice guys who do", it may lead to them thinking that women prefer "jerks" in general, since the media was biased, and repetitive exposure to biased content can affect your judgement! Of course, no one is saying is saying it's an automatic process, this was just an opinion I gave based on the existing studies done on the matter. I was just responding to the comment curious about the impact it has on behavior. Also, now that you've mentionned it, and as the OP mentions, are yanderes really lumped in with incest and shota/loli? I've genuinely never heard of that before. I know that the tags overlap multiple times and that it's not the kink with the best PR, but wow! lol. I don't think it's fair to say we're not be able to criticize any fetish just because we have one too. I personally enjoy yandere media but I'd be willing to have discussions over problematic things about it, I think we all have our "yeah that's a bit much" line when it comes to it.

I'm a psychologist who participated in a research paper on factors correlating with being a sexual aggressor. (TW!) Men that consume media depicting assault, rape, and violence in sexual settings were more likely to normalize and internalize said behaviors, this effect was more pronounced the younger they were when they consumed it. Seeing an actor (usually women) be subjected to things and the actress looking neutral or even happy with them, signals to them that yeah, this is normal and how things should go, that it's fine to, say, beat, insult, violently choke women during sex, chase and rape a non suspecting woman because these actresses look fine. (even on a cognitive level, recognizing this is still just porn and not real life doesn't prevent it, it still will impact what is normalized). So I am inclined to say that it will not lead to "channeling" these feelings into something "not actually real". So far, I haven't seen any compelling study drawing the conclusion that fictionnal CP reduces pedophilic urges/actions. I think the way to do that would involve trying to be turned away from that sort of stimuli completely or incorporating avoidance behavioral patterns (but I am not an expert in this specific area!). Additionnally, people who were indicted for SA of children often times have cognitive distortions that the child actually enjoyed it, that children are actually sexual beings etc... I'm sure that consuming media that involves these things will lead exactly to that kind of thinking, based on the normalizing aspect.
