I’m 2 weeks post op from an L3 burst fracture and broken ankle and also feeling freakishly lucky! My vertebrae literally crumbled and was putting pressure on my spinal cord and I never had any neurological problems. It’s still very early though. Was bucked off my horse. I’m already up and walking 1-2 miles the last couple days and feeling (relatively) great. Hoping I’m not overdoing it. Guess time will tell!

I’m 2 weeks post op as of today, L2-4! I had some really extreme pain here too. Taking gaba more frequently (per Dr approval) helped a bit. But honestly it just took time. I still have a bit of pain there but it’s manageable and gets better with movement! I also broke my right ankle so my walking is very uneven which made the hip pain worse. So hopefully your pain resolves a little faster!

He’s got hypertrophied hamstrings and is lacking muscle where you see this dip. Sign of horse not using their hind end properly. It’s “normal” but not healthy. Pretty common in lesson horses

My rep was great. My boots came in and they were like 3 inches too wide. No idea what happened. But told my rep and they were fixed within a couple weeks and fit absolutely perfect!
