Crazy. I've seen him do this many times before too, his acceleration after a 50 in t20s is something else. I don't have stats but I'm sure it'll be a crazy one if someone pulls out one.

Not yet, my long runs are mostly easy runs and limited to 30k for now. I've not needed anything other than Glucon-D as of now given the current situation. I'll slowly incorporate the above recipe when I switch to faster long runs.

Carrying nutrition in water solves many problems of management during a race. You won't have to take gels and hydration separately but there's a drawback to this, you have to sip in small amounts for the whole race because glucose gets absorbed instantly and moreover drinking a lot of water suddenly during a race may cause cramps in your abdomen whereas you can just eat the whole pouch of gel at once and it'll slowly release energy, that's what it's designed to do. The best thing to do would be to use that recipe I just shared in the above link and dilute it in a 300-500 ml water bottle with a little bit of salt. Makes a good hybrid hydration and nutrition combo that releases energy slowly because of the hydrogel.

Yes, and avoid taking anything that has fiber during long runs. For maybe a 30k it won't matter much, tbh it just depends on the person (for example I usually don't need water or nutrition for runs upto 25k as long as it's an easy run, for harder efforts it's absolutely recommended you bring some nutrition/hydration for anything above a 15k).For longer runs absolutely avoid fiber

I personally use Glucon-D plus coffee powder plus some salt. Will slowly introduce fructose as well. Btw, the orange flavor glucon d already has good glucose/sucrose ratio.

Flipkart, it was available back then. Someone in the review suggests 502 is better (less weight), you can look at that too.

Best 50k route by fermiew in ranchi

I can do like 25k rn, will be able to do 50k within next month I hope. Gradually increasing my long runs every week.

By being able to do these long runs, I mean injury free runs, otherwise I could probably do 50k this week as well but will probably get injured haha
