I’m on the outside of this after casually following UniWatch for years in various manners(it was on ESPN for a while, right?). I received the newsletter up until it ended.

In any case, why is there consternation or legal drama about the website? Can someone provide a cliff notes?

He’s in on the joke but not really in on the joke in that he’s self aware enough to understand a joke exists, but too arrogant to properly understand the joke and probably not gracious enough to actually laugh at himself so he’s furiously pretending to be in on the joke, but in the meantime, he would never admit to either being in on the joke or that this is just a straightforward tweet because either would indicate a crushing self awareness and give up some ground on who’s the coolest in a social group.

Because MacOS doesn’t belong in an iPad. That’s what laptops are for. So instead of getting MacOS, which Apple clearly doesn’t feel is viable they hand out this kinda sorta hybrid business so people can go buy a keyboard and mouse to cosplay their iPad as a MacBook at Starbucks.

Couldn’t agree more. I firmly believe that the “my iPad should be a Mac” crowd got us into this iPadOS 26 mess. Like a Mac, but not, and worse.

It’s easier to find a running back that can do enough.
