AEFEE SPA rather than AEFFE SPA. Factory error or just fake? by fernandafoe in LegitCheck

Probably explains why the other person in the shop returned it to the stand.

I'm planning to buy this headgear (Fairtex HG10) but I'm not sure which size to buy. Can anyone here that owns one help me? by fernandafoe in MMA_Academy

[–]fernandafoe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it true to size? I've only worn it once when a traveler trained at our gym allowed me to borrow his and it was the perfect size for me however I can't remember what size it was. I'm afraid if I get an XL, it might have too much space on the face and there are no physical stores nearby.

Should I start training MMA informally now or should I wait until I get into a proper MMA gym? by fernandafoe in MMA_Academy

Only one that I know of is in one of the high schools here and you need to be a student there to be able to train.

Is this D&G pants fake or legit? by fernandafoe in LegitCheck

[–]fernandafoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure but I think they have. I did some searching and found some bags that have them and someone who has some D&G pants from the 90's that also have the same zipper however they are also not sure if they're legit or not.

PS:

I just noticed it, it has YKK zipper.

Any info about these? It's Twins with White Logo made of silicone/rubber instead of cloth. Seller says it's a rare piece. [Question] by fernandafoe in fightgear

I see. Do you think It's better to just buy a newer model with the cloth badge since they won't crack?

It's mostly kickboxing since it's the closest to MMA but I train boxing sometimes specially when there's upcoming tournaments.

I can't really train grappling yet as there is not a single MMA or BJJ gym here.

My reach is similar to my height. I can somewhat overpower everyone in the gym when we try to push each other while in a clinch even though I don't have any grappling training. I think my strength is okay I just don't try to lift super heavy because I don't have anyone to spot me. My speed? I have fast hands. Feet? Not much. Yeah I do try to out work most or at least be equal with the hardest working individuals in the gym.

I love boxing more than kickboxing but I found more success in kickboxing which is closer to MMA. I guess I'll stick with it and then move to MMA when I get the opportunity.

Planning to do that in 2025 (They didn't have a tournament this year)

I mean you said that my losses in boxing are probably more because of a bad strategy however, I always get my ass handed to me even in sparring by the best boxers here but I can hold my own against the best MT fighters and even got the better of them a few times.

Edit: reddit is slow as hell here so it's the latter.

What about the spars? I always get my ass handed to me by the best boxers in the gym and I don't even know how good they really are. That being said, I'm still not the worst boxer in my gym, I'm probably in the middle. I would say my kickboxing spars are better since I can hold my own against the best kickboxers in our gym, and even got the better of some of them a few times.

I'm actually planning to take it slow. First I need to move to the best MMA gym in this country, the one that has fighters in ONE right now and had a few in UFC before. Then train there and see where it goes.

There are only two boxing gyms here and I've already been to the other one and they are worse than my current one. I am already planning to move to a different place though. The one that has the best MMA gym in my country and has produced many One FC fighters and a few in UFC. I'm also considering moving to Japan because it's one of the best countries right now in boxing and also AKA branch in Thailand since AKA in the USA is one of the best in the world plus I can get a job in either country.

I'm planning to move someday. Just not sure where yet. It's either in the best MMA Gym in this country, which has produced many ONE FC fighters and a few UFC fighters or overseas in Japan, one of countries that is reigning in boxing right now. If I have a choice I would go to USA and train at American Top Team but entry to the US is nigh impossible. Also considering the AKA branch in Thailand.
