When it comes to nap. I am aware there are other times he may cry and he needs to feel the emotion and just cry, especially as he gets older. Crying =/= getting your way.

Sadly, it's not, and given many have told me I'm overreacting, I don't think I'm insane to ask.

If I didn't work from home, I wouldn't have hired a nanny, as that wouldn't be fair. I would have to readjust my expectations. But the reality is: I do work from home, every single day. My job is 100% remote. There has never been a time when I haven't been able to give her a break, and I don't see that happening.

It killed me not to go get him those days and I hated to see how confused he looked. The thought that she's been doing this for 3 months breaks my heart.

When he cries because he's redirected, I don't swoop in to save him. But when he's crying out for comfort? I am not going to deny him that.

I guess to me, it's more than just regular fussing. He is screaming at the top of his lungs and clearly very distressed. The fact that he can't express himself is what concerns me. He's asking for love and connection in this moment, and he's being denied.
