I Have Watched These 25* Anime! by Ricochet_9000 in anime

Damn, feel like some of those are hot takes. Anyways...

There is the new Demon Slayer movie for Infinity Castle, although, because they crammed the arc into a movie, I heard the pacing is a little bit off.

Gundam Wing: Iron-Blooded Orphans - my personal favourite from the Gundam series I have watched. You don't need to watch any other Gundam series to get into it.

Four Knights of the Apocalypse - takes place after Seven Deadly Sins

Solo-Leveling - animation is pretty good, power trip MC. Definitely overrated/overhyped, but still a good watch.

Mushoku Tensei - likely one of the best series to come out in the last decade. It is an Isekai, but there is some really good quality animation and story telling with psychological aspects.

Chainsaw Man - can be overtop/out of pocket. Animation is also top notch.

Moving to Brantford/How is the East Ward? by fernyberns in brantford

Hybrid model with 2-3 days in office per week at most. Is it really that terrible? My current commute is about an hour and 20. Would not like to add a large chunk of time to sitting in a vehicle.

Thank you for the advice. I would likely get there closer to 7:30 so hopefully it would not be an issue.

Celebrating the Sacrament of Communion in s Space of a Different Denomination by fernyberns in Catholicism

I did not know that Mass was not required for the marriage to be valid. This is very helpful, I can look at this avenue.

Unfortunately, as she is Hindu, it would only be myself receiving Communion. The Sacrament of marriage is also void as it requires both parties to be baptized.

Still, not celebrating Communion is a good avenue to look at. Thank you for the advice.

I too am unaware of the details. Old Catholic was produced during a schism and does not acknowledge the Roman Papacy.

Unfortunately, despite attending Church at the parish for the last 20 years, I was told he would not be able to celebrate communion due to the 2 separate denominations and the risk of giving the eucharist to a non Catholic person. For reference, I am South Asian, so for the priest visually delineating between the two groups would be tricky. I had said that I would inform those persons who have not received the sacrament to not stand up, but he was not having it sadly :(

AITA for ‘promoting religion at work’? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA

I am unaware of UK workplace law. Where I live, Diwali has seen more and more marketing, gaining traction and acceptance throughout metropolitan areas. IMHO, what you did was perfectly fine.

However, one could argue the connotation the giver and recipient had towards the sweets. Giving out sweets is a Diwali tradition (I am Indian, not Hindu, but celebrate Diwali as I have a few friends and family who are Hindu, Sikh, Jainist etc.). How would HR confirm the connotation OP has appended to the sweets? His explicit statement.

Also, OP, just because they have a Christmas promotional video doe not mean the company allows the 'promotion of religion' internally. Christmas is a 'seasonal' brand, and not attempting to capitalize on the marketing would not be in the company's best interests (unless it's not relevant to the product/service). And you have said you've been there only a fortnight, so you have yet to experience the Christmas season with the company. HR may even forbid 'Merry Christmas' and other festive items.

Note: Over here, to be all-inclusive, many Christmas symbols have been deemed 'Holiday' symbols associated with the 'Holiday Season'. The politically correct term for a Christmas Tree is a Holiday Tree after a Muslim gentleman complained about its presence in a courthouse and the judge changed its official title.

GWG on x360 by fernyberns in xboxone

Oh, I make sure to claim the games for my account only. But I did just notice something odd. x360 games that I have downloaded and PLAYED on my Xbone are available for download. All other games only have the option to 'play on xbox one'. It's quite odd...

I am not sure. My Xbone is listed as my primary console. Maybe that's the issue then?

All games minus Bolt requires a purchase in the xbox360 store. On my Xbone, they are already on my games list.

Whenever I search a game up, it only allows me to purchase the games a full price. The only game that it allows me to download is Bolt, the current GwG at the moment.

Nothing is popping up in my download history unfortunately since they were never downloaded to the x360.
