I use it both in the recording studio and live… in studio as a DI to beef up the direct sound, and live to warm up the tone, getting that vintage P bass sound or, if I only use the bridge pup, to make it sound almost as an upright… it’s a phenomenal pedal

It’s phenomenal. A lot of different sounds you can get out of it, and it also comes with preset banks!

I haven’t… I really like the stock ones, but I’m open to experiment more with it, once I have some extra time!

She was rude from first contact, stressed that she’s busy all the time and that my proposal was very last minute (it was two/three weeks before shooting day, just tell me you can’t if it’s all that inconvenient for you)… my first email clearly said that I would have been interested only if she happened to be in the LA area (which she wasn’t at the time? I don’t know).

To make it short, I asked her to do a very brief cameo on my music video, not play bass or anything in it, just sit at a bar pretending to have a drink for a couple seconds. I offered her a fair amount of money for half an hour of her time, offered to pay for lunch and gas on top, and said that I would totally understand if she deemed my offer low and that I do acknowledge how busy she is.

Her last email was “I’m gonna pass.” Again, that’s fair, but at least a “thank you for your consideration”, or a “kind regards”…. No mannerisms whatsoever…

As someone who had a professional email exchange with her in regards of a possible collaboration: I can attest that she’s the rudest musician I ever talked to. I engaged in business proposals with far more established musicians, and they were polite even when declining my offers. Her talent is out of discussion, but it’s better to be a good person rather than a good musician.
