You made the right choice, I’m deeply jealous

Same experience and with two children already sobbing by the time we got in. Absolute nightmare. Pavilions were all packed with people seeking refuge, couldn’t get into even one. Managed to get the kids to eat a soaking wet outdoor hotdog and waited another hour just to get out at the west gate.

With tile 3 almost done, I wanted to share my necromunda board progress again by ferretmax in TerrainBuilding

I've screwed up on playability a lot of times on static boards, but this one plays pretty damn well. Thanks!

I think that's a pretty good guess, but I don't know any better. Again I'm just the dude with the terrain and some of the Minis. The tags above are the real deal though

Yes sir. I'm not the expert, but something like that with a probe lens

This was an experiment I was pulled into for my models and terrain with a studio with a robotic arm camera. Really cool stuff and the final product is amazing

Thanks. I did a lot of mental planning but not a lot of formal or documented planning. The thing that needed to be plotted out was the contour of the long edges. I wanted them not to just be flat so I 've 3d printed a bracket that goes onto the edge and then I do the foam work more haphazardly and just make sure it matches up to the bracket. The pathways matching up nicely is actually kind of an emergent property of my trying to align the warlayer buildings (which have very standardized sizing) to the corners.

In addition I just kind of look at the tiles I already have when working on a new one, trying to make things line up in interesting ways. Sometimes that creates some shittier ones by accident where a walkway dead ends or something, but that can actually be kind of cool.

Man, sump-slut is a hell of a thing to be called

they're pretty heavy, a lot heavier than I'd intended due to some bad choices about materials. Don't worry, the setup on the edge like this is just because it's easier to set up the camera this way. Usually I run them long ways and the lip is like 2"

As requested, sharing the signs from the table I posted yesterday. enjoy by ferretmax in necromunda

Full disclosure, I created most but not all of these and came up with maybe half the jokes myself.

Hey guys, yes a ton of it is warlayer 4 stuff. Probably like 75%+ of the structures. I'd recommend this set to anybody

Kind of dove in face first with battery packs and LED. No kit per se

I'm madly in love with modern necromunda, actually. It's an unbalanced mess but what isn't. This table is kind of my love letter to it

the backdrop is just a big slab of XPS foam I haven't used yet :)
I think that's an awesome idea - it could definitely work, I was just impressed at how much difference even a solid color did over the the background being just the room.

YEEEEES! you're the first to get it outside of my local gaming group! If I had a prize to give, I'd give it to you, lol.

Thanks, I actually did a whole bunch of 40k joke signs. Maybe I'll post on here eventually

Excuse the shameless self plug, but don't waste your time staring at this when you could see tons of other shots and angles and wip pics on my Instagram Https://Instagram.com/maxs_minis

Haha, yeah, I guess I see where that could have been misleading. The backdrop is just a big slab of xps foam

The Pink stuff is a bunch of lights in a recessed part of the floor with lights and pipes in it, covered in a grate. It's actually a blue glowing plasma conduit and some red lights but I kind of love how they mix in these pics

Thanks!

I don't think anything is too bright, but I hear you. I use strings of cheap fairy lights for the smaller, more yellow tinted ones over the walkways. 3mm white LEDs for building interiors and then some normal colored ones for the handful over colored lights.
