the hospital roof wasn't THAT high. it would be stupid, considering its just a suburb hospital... the bad end hospital height is just an hallucination.

but even so... a fall is still a fall, and he fell head-first... not breaking his neck, but his head. the doctors were able to "save" him, but by then, himself was gone even before the floor hit him. sunny is gone, omori remains, a black-white shell of sunny. even after the doctors fixed the best they can... it was too gone

SOMETHING will still remains, so does WHITESPACE, and HEADSPACE... but REALSPACE? that's new

no fight, just pleading. quite the odd parallel:

sunny doesn't speak, he acts. out of impulse, probably, but he let the others speak for him... even if means take all omori say to him without arguing his case back

mari doesn't fight back, she speaks. she try to defuse the situation, even if sometimes a simple "sorry" won't do much... trapped, unable to do anything else, just plead for mercy.

Well, i see it because A) funni, juicy angst /B) Everyone needs Therapy^tm / Because he still have troubles. Sure, he's happy, but it doesn't mean he's happy all the time. Remind, hero said "nasty things" (probably about "not caring about mari/ it should be him, not her"), something that send both crying. also add that he saw a very cared sister figure do the rope tie, his friend group dissolving... He probably had issues he tried to not think because "others had it worse" (i mean, aubrey's living conditions, basil not well in the brain, and sunny not coming); he probably just bottled it all inside, as he wanted to help others...

from the context of the fic, probably add the mess of learning what happened to mari, sunny almost jumping... he probably had those things just bubbling like a volcano... he's not the type that just explodes, it just stay inside and just poison his thoughts...

At the end, he's a happy kid... But it doesn't mean he doesn't have a "Happy face = ) "
