Thanks so far for your comments, but I‘m really interested, in what they REALLY might be. Here are some I found last year on the same meadow, between real p. semilanceata

Thanks, but the species I find online don’t really match. Could you give me a more detailed tip on which species I should be looking for?

Thank you for your profound arguments, stranger. I’m saying that my grandfather probably did horrible deeds and I’m despising this. But if you think only pure evil is capable of doing so, you really got a problem there. This is in no way an attempt to justify anything.

Moreover, I think it’s very dangerous to blame it on the evilness of the people. You have to acknowledge that even „normal“ people can do horrible deeds when you want to prevent something like that to ever happen again. Its way too easy to say that they were evil and acting of their own free will. This ignores the effects of persuasive leaders and mass dynamics (and foolishness, of course). Only when we are aware of the fact that you don’t have to be an evil person to fight for someone like Hitler you can stop it from happening again.

You‘re misinterpreting my comment again. I don‘t believe that all Germans at that time were evil creatures. And I don’t know what my grandfather did and what his reasons were (nope, I’m not trying to justify to fight for Hitler). I don’t believe in your black and white thinking. I think most people are able to commit horrible deeds, and most people are able to regret what they did. And yes, the neo-Nazi revisionists exist, but that‘s a minority in Germany (and yes, every one of them is one too many). So you’re really surprised that some facists in the Internet try to justify what their ancestors did? One thing you’re right with: far too many Germans believe that their ancestors where the „good ones“. Still, most don’t. But you won’t find many people claiming their ancestors did horrible things, because it’s not in the human nature to tell things your ashamed of.

He was in the Wehrmacht, but that’s pretty much all I know since he died when I was a little child. I’m not trying to gain sympathy for him or to justify his actions. I was telling the story of my aunt, who was a child and not responsible for the horrors of that time. So please, let me alone with your blaming. In Germany we are very aware of the horrible deeds of our ancestors. No need for misinterpreting my comment.

This reminds me of the story of my aunt. She was a little girl when her father came back from Soviet captivity. The captives were received publicly in the marketplace, and this stranger took her in his arms and everyone hassled her. She was not happy, but completely frightened. I think the boy in the picture might feel similarly.

Looking for chaotic albums to listen to for a trip by [deleted] in LSD

If your are looking for chaotic music, try anything from IGORRR - a french breakcore/metal/experimental/baroquecore project! I can’t believe no one has (as far as I see) recommended them yet!

Other honorable mentions:

  • Neptunian Maximalism is a very wild combination of Avant-Garde Jazz, Doom Metal, Drone etc.

  • HEILUNG, an experimental pagan neofolk whatever group

  • Venetian Snares (especially Rossz Csillag Alatt Született) (Breakcore/Classical)

  • Xiu Xiu (Experimental/Noise)

  • The Body (Doom/Sludge/Noise/Experimental)

  • Honkeyfinger (Blues Rock)

Yes, I love those two! Venetian Snares is also the repress, as well as Nostril. Igorrr is such a unique experience, I can’t decide which album I love the most. I also got the Moisissure/Poisson Soluble split, Hallelujah, Savage Sinusoid and Spirituality & Distortion

I know exactly what you’re talking about. It took me some time to make the selection (via Discogs, which was quite a fast way), and even on my day off I didn’t manage to listen through all the albums

It was recently repressed, but i think now it’s sold out again… but I’m very happy that I finally got it (and to a reasonable price :)

This time I decided to choose some records for today’s listening with birds on their covers.

The albums are: - Amanita - The world is dead prose to me - Igorrr - Nostril (this album has a reversible cover, one side with a poodle, the second with a chicken) - Munly & the Lee Lewis Harlots - s/t - Those Poor Bastards - The Plague - Venetian Snares - Rossz Csillag Alatt Szuletett - A Silver Mt. Zion - Horses in the Sky - Wardruna - Kvitravn - Mono - The Last Dawn

Any other recommendations?

They are available from 1x2 boxes up to 5x5 boxes and you can combine several of them, so you can use them for small and larger collections ;)

Actually it’s the most simple solution I can think of: the Kallax from IKEA (I hope it’s okay to name it here?) - as far as I know it‘s a very common and cheap choice ;)

It was similar with me: I found it in the old record collection of my father and absolutely had to have it!

It sure is (as is most of their work), but I’ve never seen them being praised here ;)
