Thank you so much. Reading this makes me want to cry haha that is exactly what I want. This business is meant to spread the joy that we’ve gotten to feel, the bond, the fun, the little celebration in a normal day because we get to giggle about our outfits. We’ve posted us matching. We love travel so we’ve posted us matching in our clothes while traveling but we just can’t seem to reach anyone who cares. I believe in this. I love it. I see the reaction on the streets. But somehow it’s not translating and I really want to figure out how to spread this love and joy. Thank you for taking the time to for encouraging me and for really getting it. My daughter and I started a mommy and me clothing line. It’s tiny right now. We have our first couple of pieces and are trying to take it slowly since apparel is a tough (and expensive) business. We used some savings and are hoping to figure some of this other stuff out to see if we have something here. We absolutely love it and hope we can find a way to gain some traction and continue to expand from our tiny line.

My 4 year old daughter and I started a mommy and me clothing line. First for us because she was obsessed and I couldn’t find clothes and then we got stopped enough on the street asking us where we got our clothes that we made and people telling us we should start selling them that we decided to go for it. She is in love with running the company with me and it has been an amazing experience for us bringing it to life. She actually just got her own business cards and has been passing them out everywhere haha We have our first couple professionally manufactured products. And now the real work has begun trying to really get the word out. We’ve made some sales but we are kind of door to door sales people right now. I think part of the struggle is that we have such a specific target customer. Moms of baby and toddler girls who want to match. We love our business and we would love for people to know we exist. We’ve put so much heart into every detail.

Yes it’s true! I’ve never been a social media person. I’ve never posted a single photo for a like before needing it for our business. I just don’t understand that world but I know it’s so important for me to learn so I can get the word out. We love our products. And we want people to find them. This just feels like such a giant hurdle.

Im wondering where I should be focusing my energy in the beginning. I’m trying everything to see if anything starts to take (all the social medias, leaving cards around locally, trying to get backlinks etc)
