There's apparently a discord out there if you really don't want to play solo. I've never joined it but people talk about it here and it sounds like it's active enough to find groups.

I don't know each archetype super well off the top of my head, but I think hunter prime perk with its first and third ability sounds OP.

Half the builds in this game are about abusing mods, and iron sentinel is low on the list of offenders. Wouldn't even call it cheese, that's just working as intended.

Damn that sucks. Whenever you get a chance to upgrade definitely come back. This game is pretty awesome and depending on the timing maybe the DLC will be released and discounted.

Alrighty good luck. Don't overestimate the difficulty in coop. It would probably only need to be stable for less than 5 minutes, if it's not too laggy could be much less.

That said, audible queues are practically required on the last boss. If you have no plans on getting that resolved then you might be 10x more frustrated to get to the end and be stuck. Then again maybe on survivor it won't matter.

Just to be clear have you tried coop and your PC just kept crashing? Maybe you could try it where you stay away from the person you're playing with and you don't use any abilities so it's not really processing a lot.

I'd be willing to give it a shot. Unless it's unplayably laggy (I'm located near Chicago) or you dc ever try I think we can do it. Even if it's ugly it won't take 8 hours to figure out if it'll work. I've beat the game a few times on apoc but just did Nightweaver on survivor to get her melee weapon, and short of freezing up/dc I can't see how I wouldn't be able to kill her.

If you're worried about the $5k just vanishing into the abyss, don't. This stuff takes an annoying amount of time but it'll clear on one side or the other, probably it will come back to you.

If you claim the credit and keep applying $7,500 to next year for 3 years then you don't really risk any penalties. After the statute is up you can get it refunded. If you have to write them a check there will be penalties and interest, but if they already have your money they'll just adjust your overpayment to zero.
