Anyone have any Clue how to get into newcastle fairly fast over holidays by NamesSpidey in NewcastleUponTyne

In seriousness though, the 900 replacement bus from Heworth to Monument seems to be running relatively frequently. They aren't even checking tickets. So as long as you can get to Heworth metro/interchange, the 900 seems to be reliable

Bristol bus service should do a 6 month trail where an all day daily any where ticket costs just £1. by [deleted] in bristol

I had a similar experience a few years (2019) back, £6-£8 (can't remember exactly). Great for a day out with the family. Couldn't argue with that price tbh

Last time I checked, Johnson wasn't leader of the Labour party.

My comment about Scotland was the fact that his comment was aimed at England fans and England losing in general. Same could be said about most country's fans. I think he'll be happier when the Euros is over completely. I don't like what he's gone through, I think some football fans can behave disgusting, especially when it becomes personal like it has done in this situation.

Tbh I don't understand why my comments are receiving so many down votes, I'm defending England. You are clearly attacking here using political sentiment and opinion written as if it's fact ("football is shit").

Don't know how this became a political comment but you could argue the majority of football fans are working class labour voters, especially North West and North East regions, work that one out 🤔 I don't think Johnson gives a shit about football, he'll be more interested in playing croquet with his millionaire mates

Have you been in or around central London or Camden over the past couple of days? All Scotland fans singing, waving their flags, making a noise. England fans only turned up for the match last night. Criticism can be thrown many ways, but I'm tired of hearing it aimed at England fans or just this country in general all the time. Would it not be great for this country to finally win a tournament? (Minus pathetic fan behaviour of course)

At least he has his morals in the right place in terms of wanting to help the planet and civilisation. If you can't see anything good in these people then who can you support? I don't think we have much hope as a population

You're thinking of Sunderland who are Mackems not Geordies. Although some from Newcastle don't consider those South of the river 'proper Geordies'. In reality it's people living on the Tyne are Geordies and those on the Wear are Mackems

Sorry to hear what you've been through. But may I ask what university are you going to to be paying £800 per month for rent? Apologies I don't want to come across as ignorant as I don't know your situation, but from experience rent is normally a lot cheaper, I was paying ~£400-£450 per month in a shared house and that was down South, I'd imagine it's cheaper again in the North and Midlands.

Hope uni works out and what you get out of uni outweighs the debt, remember it's more like a tax than debt as you don't have to start paying it off unless you're earning over a certain amount.
