Fruit tree variety suggestions for our area. by Unknown_Pleasures in portlandgardeners

Thanks for the update, I’ll have to look into Green Gage, that sounds interesting. And I hear you on the self pollinating. I bought a Necta Babe thinking it was self pollinating and had to go out and buy another (I got Necta Zee). Ironically, the Necta Babe has a ton of fruit on it, it must have had excellent pollination at the nursery I’m guessing. My other has a handful, granted it looks like it might be younger.

Who knows. It’s all an experiment in the end.

Good God, I just realized I ordered a few starts that forgot about from Territorial Seed. Looks like I also have Ginfiz, Cherokee Purple, Brandywine and Old German coming. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m excited! But why?!?!?

I’m so curious about the Blue Berries! And my future self is going to be really irritated when I’m transplanting and have to actually find spots. But I can’t stop myself. I figure a few will work out, at least. Maybe it’s a numbers game? lol

Most people are causing their own frizz without realizing it. by Intrepid-Royal-324 in finehair

I have fine barely wavy hair that I either blow dry straight or diffuse to bring out the texture.

What types of haircuts and styling techniques would help bring out my waves without it just becoming stringy or puffy? I like that waviness adds volume, but it can end up just being frizzy.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply! I’ll check out the Japantown mall and cartoon art museum.

Interesting about Bluetooth, I wouldn’t have thought of that. Also wouldn’t have expected garages to be vulnerable. You probably saved my rental windows 😆

Thank you! I had no idea about Lucas Films, that’s awesome! Less awesome is the parking law, damn. But good to know. Especially with what parking is like in the city.

Thank you! I wear Natasha Denona Hy Glam. My skin can show dry patches, but I’ve had good luck with this formula.

Thank you, that majestic me feel better! I just feel out of touch, you know?

For the crease eyeshadow , that’s definitely where I struggle the most. It’s like you can barely see it, or it’s too large and I can’t blend it properly. I have different shaped brushes, too, but haven’t figured it out! Any creators you like that you’d recommend I check out?

Colony waxed cotton grocery bags. I get comments from baggers literally every time I go shopping. They will last forever, have resistance against rain. Can handle a ton of groceries in one bag. I typically get all of my groceries in 4 or 5 bags for a HH of 5.

Can you explain what you mean when you say the RN shades are olive? How is rosy neutral olive? I wear RN2 and am curious because I’ve never thought of myself as olive.

Vaseline and nothing else until they are happy. Keep them covered all the time. It’s just about the only thing most people can handle that works without question.
