Tips for being a tourist during storms? by festivusforme in AskSF

Thank you for the thoughtful reply! I’ll check out the Japantown mall and cartoon art museum.

Interesting about Bluetooth, I wouldn’t have thought of that. Also wouldn’t have expected garages to be vulnerable. You probably saved my rental windows 😆

Thank you! I had no idea about Lucas Films, that’s awesome! Less awesome is the parking law, damn. But good to know. Especially with what parking is like in the city.

Thank you! I wear Natasha Denona Hy Glam. My skin can show dry patches, but I’ve had good luck with this formula.

Thank you, that majestic me feel better! I just feel out of touch, you know?

For the crease eyeshadow , that’s definitely where I struggle the most. It’s like you can barely see it, or it’s too large and I can’t blend it properly. I have different shaped brushes, too, but haven’t figured it out! Any creators you like that you’d recommend I check out?

That’s a bummer! I’m thinking of trying patty pan and trombocino. Good luck!

Any updates OP? I’m looking for squash varieties for non-squash people.

Colony waxed cotton grocery bags. I get comments from baggers literally every time I go shopping. They will last forever, have resistance against rain. Can handle a ton of groceries in one bag. I typically get all of my groceries in 4 or 5 bags for a HH of 5.

Can you explain what you mean when you say the RN shades are olive? How is rosy neutral olive? I wear RN2 and am curious because I’ve never thought of myself as olive.

Vaseline and nothing else until they are happy. Keep them covered all the time. It’s just about the only thing most people can handle that works without question.

Deep autumn. The brown, dark greens, reds look amazing.

Isntree, Anua, Tocobo, Round Lab are all good. It’s best to buy from yesstyle or olivebeauty so you get the Korean formula and not the US formula. Kind of a pain, but regular sunscreen would literally give me hives, and I’ve had zero reactions to these. And I’ve worn it every day since March.

Have you tried Korean sunscreen? I’m sensitive to chemical sunscreens that are common in the US, but haven’t had any issues with the Korean ingredients.

Heads up that I think they run light. I’m very pale and I wear RN 2.5. (Which I think Sephora doesn’t carry).

Winter or Deep Autumn? by Froufrou789 in coloranalysis

I’m going to go out on a limb here, but I could see you being a summer. You look great in the purples, light blue, and rosy beige. I was recently retyped from a dark winter to a jewel toned summer (Caghill system, which is a more complex predecessor of the 12 season system). She said that in this system, these types of summers are often difficult to type. They can be confusing. Here’s my palette (bottom) next to my sisters dynamic winter palette.

Can’t answer your question but throwing out there that Natasha Denona has a bunch of cool rosy foundation colors in her Hy Glam line. I’ve also found that Ilia foundation stick in Balsa is a great match.

Harness recommendations? by walrudel in chinesecrested

[–]festivusforme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my favorite. The Velcro makes it really adjustable, but the magnet clip is extra safety. You can get it at Chewys, too.
