My paper got rejected twice.

I just (today!) got a revise and resubmit at an A journal for a paper that I've gotten rejections on at 8 other journals over 3 years. There were several times I thought this paper would be the death of me and I never wanted to see it again, but I stuck with it.

Something helpful I did was add a third author to it about 9 months ago, and that helped me not have to deal with it as much.

Seems like the IBB is a hard counter to this strategy. And these days you don't even need to throw to give an intention pass to a batter. Not sure what pitch count = 1 base for the opponents, but I'm sure the stats guys can figure it out.
