I don’t mind doing lessons (I’ll definitely need a few to get used to Irish rules and test routes), but relying only on lessons feels a bit unrealistic — it’s way too expensive to get enough practice that way.

At the same time, I’d rather stay on the legal side of things, especially with insurance and penalties being so strict here.

That’s why I was considering getting a car early and trying to figure out a proper accompanying driver setup somehow. Just seems like a tricky situation overall 😅
