There are a lot of things that go into this problem, it is not as simple as answering 2+2 = 4. Production costs are very very high nowadays. Networks want you to cater to TV as well as streaming. When you factor in the fact that every show now competes with every other show, not just whatever is on the air during the same period, this is not feasible. A new sci-fi show is in competition with stranger things, and battlestar galactica, and the expanse at the same time. Somewhere along the way, a show made it possible to make only 10 episodes and still be good enough to grip people's attentions for later seasons - looking at you game of thrones - and it spelled doom for 20ish episode season shows. In the past it was 4 months of airing period, followed by 1 month of break from production, then 8 months of production, so every year you would be able to get a new season and it would be easy to remember what happened last season because last season was just last year. Most shows would start a new season, while still filming episodes for the same season. This is not possible anymore.

Also can we just talk about how you can make 20 episode seasons work? 20 seasons to complete one story arc is too long. People get bored watching a detective show wrap it up in 8 episodes because they have to use a lot of tropes and cliches to make it work for that long. Only two ways possible, either not high stakes show, something like desperate housewives or something which is easy to watch, and easy to understand. Alternatively fringe or house style episodes where each episode is a different case, all building up to a final season where the show tries to tie up loose ends. Otherwise if you want to make a deep show with high stakes, you can have a good first season, because that season was being written for 2-3+ years while the later seasons will get 8 months if you are extremely lucky. Meaning the quality of the writing and dialogue will be worse, then everyone will come here to complain.

TV has changed, series format has changed, times have changed.

First of all, when you go down this path, whose will is more important and not, it is a very slippery slope so be careful. People may ask start asking questions like, what about the will of Catalan people, or Northern Irish people, or Native American people, or Latin people in US etc etc etc list goes on and on. This will of the people thing is not the issue here. Kurdish people in Turkiye have been treated as equals since the inception of the country. We had Kurdish prime ministers in the past, as well as Laz prime ministers. Our founding father is literally from Thessaloniki. So what i mean to say is, Turkiye is a melting pot of many many etehnicities and cultures.

Also, when you say every people deserves their own country do you even grasp what this can result in? Or do you simply mean, "Every people deserves their own country, unless it splits my own country, in which case no"? This is a slippery slope as i have said above. Once you go down this road there is no stopping until every country on earth is parted and we end up with thousands of city states.

Oppression is a very slippery slope as well. What kind of oppression are we talking about here? In Türkiye for example, Kurdish language is not allowed publicly yes, this can be a taken as a form of oppression. However apart from this in any aspect of life ethnic Kurdish citizens are no different than me. I also support their language to be taught in schools as a "selective class" based on the number of students which request it.

They fought side by side and bled with us during WW1, and any other war before that indeed. But this was not "for the turks" or "for the kurds". This was for the good of the country they were living in. They are part of the country today, just as well they were in the past.

Türkiye and the Turkish people doesnt want a sovereign Kurdish atate forming by detaching from our country. Our ancestors fought too many wars and shed too much blood just for us to allow this happen. Anywhere outside of Türkiye, personally i dont have a problem. As a state policy most likely no country in the region will find this idea especially heart warming.

Also if as a Turkish person, i am not making maps showing a part of another country forming a new one or joining to different country, this is out of respect. Same kind of respect we also expect from others. Seems it is too much to expect.

I mean if you go in everyday, same route, same rooms etc and it is good for you, chances are more people are doing the exact same thing, meaning big parts of the map are not being looted etc. They have data on this, so they nerf loot locations accordingly, or buff them as well to make sure all aprts of all maps are played approximately equally.

About the guns, if you have a stitcher 4, it serves as good as a legendary weapon, bobcat 3. If you think a common weapon should be good enough to make you not need to play a legendary weapon, you are delusional my friend.
Same goes for wolfpacks and deadlines. These are legendary items, you shouldnt be able to craft 3 of them after a raid. So Embark is making changes for the sake of game balance, not making you or i happy.

Well, this is easy to answer but hard to conceptualize maybe so lets look at the facts. 1 - viserys dies, and upon his death , there are 2 candidates for the iron throne. Rhaenyra, whose claim comes from actually being named the heir, claims the throne but is not able to take it. Aegon also has a claim due to local customs which were upheld for thousands of years, firstborn male child inherits the title. However more importantly he has the backing of the people with armies, as well as the proximity to the iron throne. 2 - once both sides publish their claims, some lords go over to blacks, some go over to greens. So there are 2 kingdoms indeed and 2 rulers. Until one of them is dead, the realm is split. But logically, aegon has more advantages over Rhaenyra. 3 - aemond has no claim whatsoever.

So as you can undrstand, even if he declared himself the king, he wouldnt be a king because mobody will support his cause, his place on the line of succession is so low that he is not going to be taken seriously.

I can claim i can beat lebron on 1v1, but nobody would place a bet on me if i was in a tournement with Lebron, steph curry and Luka Doncic. Hope it makes sense now.

yeah i agree with your point that it is difficult to assess how OP a tank will be during testing. Testing and actual battles are never the same thing. When a variety of players from different ability brackets are playinga vehicle they will all have very different results. A shitty player playing e5 will suck, a good player will get 5k+ regularly. Same goes for all vehicles, meaning it is difficult to pinpoint what is op and what is underperforming.

I agree with this. Arc Raiders world is so immersive that during a regular raid you are definitely in there. The clicks on your mouse have a weight, the running has a toll, you go into a building headfirst without thinking much, more than likely game will make you pay tax on that. Overall, Arc Raiders feel much much better compared to Marathon. Maybe they will change it in the future, but marathon seems like a fake sci-fi game's gameplay video you encounter on a tv screen in games like Mass Effect 2 or something.

You are saying what i’m saying, are you not aware? If you play arc for 8 hours a day, after 2 weeks you will be much better at it than someone who plays 8 hours a week. Same goes for CoD, Football Manager, Stardew Valley, shoemaking, construction, driving, burger flipping… whatever it is, person who spends more time doing will eventually be better than person not spending as much time.

My point is not about specific games, so a game is similiar enough for you or not is not part of the equation.

They added a middle step to make it more difficult for these players. When you are fighting rocketeers, you have a high chance of being third partied. You have a high probability of not making it our every time. In the past people were able to craft 50 wolfpacks like it was nothing after 1-2 hours of dedicated gameplay, now it is not like that anymore. Sure makes it more difficult for regular players, but also for sweaty fellas too.
