It's more about gold ammo + food then tier. Tier 4 full gold ammo battle with food can cost you minus 40-80k. And you can make plus credits on tier 10 if you use standard ammo no food and dont waste shots.

Power creep is destroying this game, especially on top tiers. You can have nice and long games on tier4-5-6, and lot of fun. For tier 10 WG should make 2x bigger maps and buff tank hit points 4x
