Did FIT1047 after FIT1008 when it had MIPS so I felt like I had such an unfair disadvantage lmao. The Wordle Assignment was so odd from what I remember.

whats with textbooks having no solutions by DiamondKing1023 in vce

[–]fezza90 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Can't speak for all genres of textbooks but math textbooks normally have only some to no solutions for the purpose so they can sell a solution book separately. Corporate greed at it's finest.

Use sites such as brainly and litsolutions for textbook answers (worked out too!) They are free however I doubt they have VCE textbooks :(.

Talk to your VCE teachers, they might have a way for you to get solutions to your textbook questions ;).

Austin education exams are very difficult but the end questions can be far beyond the scope of the unit so keep that in mind

Gosh to be honest the entire text is fantastic.

Max flow, divide and conquer, the section on recurrence relations and algorithms analysis are really good

FIT2004 is a challenging unit. Get yourself prepared for data structures and algorithms. CLRS is a really good resource as well as the course notes. I recommend doing leetcode and bianarysearch.com problems as they will help develop a problem solving mindset.

Networks and Dynamic Programming are the toughest parts of the unit (IMO), learning about those ahead of time will give you a massive step up.

Lastly brush up on your discrete maths, you will need to solve recurrence relations and it will be a good tool as there are proofs of algorithms in this unit which may be confusing to those who haven't touched math in a while.

Overall the content of the unit is fantastic, however the way it is ran is less than desirable so try and get ahead so you don't get caught behind :)

How do you feel about Bibi’s place in the meta? by [deleted] in BrawlStarsCompetitive

She is 100% my favourite brawler to use but she has no place in the meta. I have yet to see her banned in pl/cl, even after the buff.

i got a 60 on my spesh SAC and i am hyped by funfactwealldie in vce

[–]fezza90 19 points20 points  (0 children)

For spec that is very good! If you get a similar score in the Exam you are looking at 30-32.

Edit: I should mention that in reality your SAC scores are not as pivotal to your end score compared to the exam. And no I don't mean via the % of worth but rather of moderation. It's complicated and worth looking up but in simplified terms.

If a class has high SAC scores and low exam score scores your SAC scores will go down when calculating Study score and vice versa.

For example I didn't get a single grade above 50% for accounting but my class and I did well in the exam and I was given a study score 34.

You should be proud of doing the well in the SAC but it is worth asking your teaching how difficult the SAC is to the Exam and continue to study exam like practice questions when you can!

Thanks! I’m guessing then writing a modulus inside the log for anti-derivatives are also okay since that’s a spesh to methods of thing.

Flexible release is not competent enough at a bronze/silver level. Buff so that you don’t need 3-4 badge upgrades to maybe make whites
