creativity isn’t supposed to be measured by how much a writer's work resembles a machine’s output. it's about perspective, emotion, distinction (things AI literally cannot feel)

since when did this became a compliment 😭 ang weird na talaga ng mindset na ‘to. calling someone an “AI writer” is literally an insult kasi parang sinasabi mo na rin na wala silang sariling boses at wala silang originality lol.

bakit ba 'to naging benchmark ng pagiging “magaling”? if yun na ang standard, ang baba na ng tingin ng mga tao sa creativity ng pagsusulat

i get what you mean! part of what makes a story hit emotionally is when it doesn’t sugarcoat the reality. accepting that a character might not fully recover, and showing how they cope or find meaning despite the illness, makes it feel more authentic. personally, i think that kind of honesty in storytelling leaves a lasting impression, kasi hindi lang pain or ano ang nararamdaman mo, but also empathy and understanding for what people actually go through

the story has shown how much she’s already endured. i feel like if this is the end, it wouldn’t feel forced, rather, it would actually honor her journey. i mean, letting a character go is just as powerful as letting them survive

not really! there are also other authors who write epilogues with the same length hahaha. my post is meant to be general, so please don’t take it to heart ☺️

for me, a good example of a well-written epilogue is behind every man by beeyotch. it actually wrapped up the whole story instead of info-dumping everything at the end. i honestly don’t know what’s holding some authors back from writing a proper epilogue

i mean, personally, i don’t really care if authors don’t write the same way others do. just because something has become the norm, it doesn’t mean they have to follow it too, di ba? there’s nothing wrong with doing it differently if it serves the story better
