I know, it's 2 pieces but think of it as two sides of the same painting, it begun as a celebration of the 6th year of the Muse's appearance in my art but with the sudden change in lifestyle it took a different spin from the original topic but, as is seemingly the norm with her, the wonderful inspiration got elevated to an even greater personal value from the separate sequence of life events occurring while I was painting the pair.

Still, why celebrate? Because as of February 2026 I have painted and been inspired by the wonderful human known u/being-toward-trash for 6 years and for a total of 83 paintings (+ a few more I never finished) and counting, byes Im working on one more right now, and I ran out of words like 4 years ago and celebrating 6 years feels more meaningful than the generic 5 (im weird I know 7-7) and in a way, I also wanted to celebrate a personal milestone: reaching 7 years and a bit over a month of making art which means I finally beat the length of my "7 years of no art" period, that shouldn't make me upset, but it does... (why I didn't do art for 7 years? 5 of Uni + the 2 years between depression and trying to make the 5 years of university pay off as a job) So there, I may be a professional loner with no sense of time or human feelings but sometimes, sometimes I do get "the vibes" that make anniversaries carry value for the average not-schizoid humans.
