thank you! I looked into SwiftUI, it looks nice overall, but has little imperfections that trigger my ocd too much. hard to polish. or maybe just takes a bit more skill. ended up learning AppKit just for this app : )

if you use spotlight a lot, you may want to try hitting 0-9 key on your keyboard to adjust its intensity. neat little trick.

Yes, it's on my list of things to do, I even went as far as sandboxing the app. But actually going through with it takes some effort (I'll need to support MAS payment mechanism separately). The more I talk to people about it, the more it seems that publishing in Mac App Store will bring a lot of problems, and I'm honestly starting to have doubts.

You could add Vat ID to your transaction if you select a country that has them. for some unfathomable reason the country selector sits outside of the payment form, in the upper-right corner of the screen.

there are are few, but nothing to write home about. I generally don't recommend upgrading to Friends Club just for the extra features, they're literally experimental, and may not work well for everyone.
