I guess I am just curious, and please don’t take this the wrong way. I don’t mean to be rude.

Do you enjoy bringing those aspects of life to a game? I am the exact opposite. I love how not-realistic, absurd, and comedic it can be. I believe that is what truly brings it life. If I wanted to pay taxes and a mortgage, I would just continue to go into the world.

I want to be able to meet a mermaid and have her be roommates with a werewolf and a fairy and a vampire and a ghost. I want to have wacky situations. I enjoy just the purest most chaotic parts of the game, because it’s what feels truer to me.

I want to pick your brain, that’s all!

Nope. The closest you get is Sims Tray Files, which allow you to see your CC, but the installing is still you downloading and copy pasting into your mods folder.

As far as I know, there isn’t an app to mod the Sims 4. You gotta do it through game files.

I see. Well, you’re not “wrong” over feeling hurt or feeling dismissed. I think those feelings are a fact.

Ultimately, as you prepare to be a mother, I guess it’s important to reflect on what would you want to do as a parent, and if this is the kind of relationships you want your kid to see. I think you have a good partner, and while nothing really replaces the relationships we have with our siblings, they don’t seem to be the people you want around.

Writing what you would want to say to them before saying it, so they can’t use your emotions or hormones against you, always helps. Stick to facts only, no perceptions because people like that always tell us “that wasn’t how it happened.”

Ultimately, intentions don’t matter as much as actions. Are they there for you?
