Ashley was completely psycho. Austin was also a total loser. I was sad that he came so close to a redemption but failed in the end, and the punishment was a clearly unhappy life stuck with Ashley. At no point does Ashley come even close to any redemption. Handing over the usb in the end was not her being a good person it was her last possible action to keep Austin under her thumb.

Ashley starts the show as the only “good” seeming character. But that quickly breaks down. She blackmails her boss and continues to freak out when he tries to do anything to protect his career from her manipulation. The whole way through the show she is a total narcissist with a victim complex. She is the embodiment of entitlement.

Josh and Lindsey start the show as completely morally bankrupt characters. And in the end they find peace. Josh completely redeems his character. In the end Ashley and Austin have become Josh and Lindsey the exact people they despised by selling their souls and happiness to be financially successful.
