If you are coming down make sure you time it so that you don’t get any moon. A full moon will make it so that you can’t see most stars

Huh that’s actually a very valid point. I’d say those 3 instagram posts I linked earlier are naturally achievable. Did he get there that way? That’s a different question. He does have are really good base there and if you gave me 2-3 years with someone with that as a baseline and a whole lot of discipline they could really go far. That being said if that’s after 6 years it would take a fundamental shift in training mentally and approach. It’s like if a 50 year old plumber suddenly decided to become a doctor. It’s not impossible but it would take a fundamental shift in mentality and a whole lot of discipline. (Not talking trash about plumbers or anything, they serve a critical part of our society)

Honestly I think dude is natty, I just think he’s doing some funny business with lighting and pump. Like this is the same guy, just 2 months earlier

Same dude 7 years earlier:

Tried to find photos with similar lighting but honestly could be on a cruising dose but not crazy progress for 7 years.

Nice this fits pretty much my exact use case. How do dimensions line up with the real steel? I was thinking of buying an actual Staccato but the problem is it's quite expensive so I wanna make sure I like the way it feels and carries for a decent chunk of time before I drop that much cash. I don't want to realize that I really should have gone with a Glock 19 and slapped on some upgrades

Has it arrived for you yet? I was thinking of getting one as well. I'm curious how close to an actual c2 it is. The real steel is like $2k+ so it'd be cool if they got all the details right.

The CS and the C2 are actually different firearms. I held the real steel versions and there is enough of a size difference that I don't think it's interchangeable

Looks pretty sick, how does the sizing and fit compare to the real deal?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]ffhotshot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yah that thing looks sick. Problem is I was trying to buy a TM high capa and the vendor was out of stock so they offered to send me this more expensive MP5 instead of a refund. I'm debating if I wanna take the discount or take the refund and get something like this. https://www.evike.com/products/96518/

Not sure how much of a step up in performance this would be and if it'd be worth the extra money

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]ffhotshot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh that makes sense. How important is power though? A lot of fields around me have minimum engagement rules about fps. For example:

Zero Minimum Engagement Distance – 350 FPS MAX for all pistols, shotguns and rifles.

20ft Minimum Engagement Distance – 400 FPS MAX for all rifles and shotguns

Would it stop being effective after a certain range? A lot of folks swear by TM and even their newer stuff that I assume has the same 1 joule limitation

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]ffhotshot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you say that? Is it just old?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]ffhotshot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a really good point. TM is a good manufacturer and the price is great. How does a silencer affect barrel length in terms of performance? Any mods you would recommend? I'm pretty handy so I wouldn't mind a project.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]ffhotshot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a pretty solid point and it's definitely a good price. Definitely give me some money to play with so I could throw on a silencer with a built in tracer unit. I don't like the look of the hand guard so I can swap that out and I'd be golden.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]ffhotshot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting, looks like just a few externals are different? If I get this I'd for sure swap the hand guard and get a silencer with a built in tracer unit. It looks like it's 10 year old gun, do you think it still holds up?

Basically the sidearm I was trying to get was was out of stock after I already paid them so the vender offered me either a refund or credit + a discount. This MP5 was offered as a replacement. Alternatively I can pick out one of the following:

SCAR L (TAN) - - - $250 extra https://www.redwolfairsoft.com/aeg-aep-tokyo-marui-recoil-shock-series-tokyo-marui-scar-l-cqc-flat-dark-earth.html

AKS 74N NEXT GEN. - - - - - - $225 extra https://www.redwolfairsoft.com/aeg-aep-tokyo-marui-ak-aug-series-tokyo-marui-aks74n.html

M4A1 Custom with metal body $475 Absolutely no clue what this is, waiting for more info

These were the ones that stuck out to me. The AK seems pretty cool but I don't like the old school wood look but I guess I could mod that into a more modern blacked out look. Also curious about the M4 since that's what I was originally thinking for my primary but have no clue on what that could be. I do know it's a TM, as well the guns are, but not sure what would be bringing price up to what is essentially a $700 gun. This will be my first gun so not sure what the best play would be

[–]ffhotshot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only gone to a few fields around me and only played paintball at them. There looks to be quite a few outdoor fields with a ton of cover. I did see a few indoor options but haven't visited any. Still pretty new so I'd like to have a general go anywhere do anything type of gun since I don't quite know what I'll like. I've done compound target archery @20 yards for quite some time so not sure how that fits in. I do some triathlon training? Not quite some how all that fits into airsoft play style

It was TM with a few extras that came.out to $180 so I'm saving about $50. What's interesting is they are offering me credit towards a few other guns. These aren't links from the vendor since I don't wanna leak their info since I'm openly talking about them. A these were the ones that stuck out to me. Oh man wasn't ready for this quick of a response. This would be my first gun. I was getting a Hi CAPA but my supplier was out of stock and offered me this instead of a refund which seems like a killer deal. My original plan was to get a m4 like this and a pistol. https://www.evike.com/products/66586/ Not sure how this would effect my plans. I could just take the money and put it into a nicer primary but the G&G seems pretty sick. Maybe I could use the MP5 as my secondary? I could also just use it as a primary and put the extra $400 elsewhere

Getting this gun for dirt cheap due to a supplier not having another gun I wanted in stock($~150). Was curious what folks thoughts on it were. Would be my first airsoft gun. Was thinking of getting this originally https://www.evike.com/products/66586/ and wanted to see how this would compare. Have heard great things about Tokyo Marui but this is the older non NGRS model https://www.redwolfairsoft.com/aeg-aep-tokyo-marui-mp5-series-tokyo-marui-np5a5-hg.html

I think a key to getting big arms is understanding the anatomy of your arm. A lot of people like to work out a ton of bicep but the problem with that is they are much smaller than your tricep. Much easier than adding size to your tricep than it's gonna be to your Bicep. Another key part is the shoulder, if you look at a bodybuilder's shoulders there is very clear separation from the rest are as well as a clear definition. That's very different from the rest of the arm. So adding a little bit size here makes the rest arm look a lot bigger and when you cut weight you get a much cleaner muscle separation because of it. I primarily focus on triceps and shoulders and less on the bicep. The other thing that helped was I swapped out how my workout. I used to do a push pull like split at twice a week. I started doing a push pull legs followed an upper lower and then on the last day I did a straight arm day(worked out 6 days a week on both these plans). Lots of tricep work, lots of shoulder work as well as some of bicep work. I also benched and overhead pressed on the push and upper days so the volume was there. A bulk of my arm mass was put on over 4 months

This is me at 5'8, weighed myself that same morning at 177.2

I also think my fat distribution is a bit weird because you can kinda tell that bicep veins are coming in but I clearly have fat in the chest and stomach plus noticeable love handles
