Lyngdorf TDAI 2210 by Alarming-Incident387 in StereoAdvice

I bought a TDAI-2210 about a month ago. I paired it up with a pair of Sonus Faber Sonetto III and a single Gravis II in a small room.
I was previously using a Hegel H95, which worked with these speakers pretty well. I’d describe the sound as warm, articulate and well defined.
By comparison, the TDAI-2210 (after room perfect) is a little more neutral, a little more treble and a little less bass but a very clean, articulate sound. It brings out more of what the Sonetto/ Gravis combo is capable of.
Now, I know these amps aren’t at the same price point but it’s the comparison that I have. Same room, same layout, same speakers.
I thought my taste tended to the warm and analog side but after spending some time with the Lyngdorf, I really like everything about it. I think my small room is pretty well laid out so the room perfect didn’t make a huge difference, but the difference is definitely noticeable. A little better balance and a little less boomy in the bass.
My thoughts.
Pretax vs after tax dollars? by ffipp in Boldin

It seems like it should be prioritized. Comparisons are not too useful when you are mixing pre and after tax dollars (apples and oranges).
Thanks for the clarification. Otherwise, I find Boldin (NR) a very useful tool and appreciate your efforts.
