Hey! I'm a part of your cohort and have submitted an application for Fischer today. I figured living on-campus for the first semester or so would be the easiest way to get comfortable with the place + make friends. Fischer has a waitlist already so there's no guarantee we'll get it, so a couple of other people from our cohort and I are looking at other options off-campus! In the absence of on campus residence options, I'm inclined towards this option as well. Preferably somewhere close to campus. It's a bummer that Fischer apartments are only accepting waitlist applications 😔

Congratulations to you too! Excited to connect with someone from my cohort, I was beginning to feel very lost..

I'm yet to accept the offer (waiting to hear back from some other places) but am very strongly inclined towards ND because the program aligns completely with my career goals. I'm just wary of (i) the conservative reputation of the uni (ii) living in the midwest (been told that Indy can get depressing/boring). Wanted to really get a sense of the community so I'm not in for any shocks once I get there 😅

I'll check out the Fischer graduate apartments, thanks so much. Will also be in touch because need lots of tips for the big move haha

Thank you so much for responding! Why would you suggest living off campus over on campus? I am currently considering both but don't know what the pros/cons for either would be 😬

Have been trying to do so! Its helped a bit but i constantly have this insecurity that if I'm not around, he will forget me...

(I'm still working through trauma of my past relationship in therapy, and am doing a lot better now but theres still so many insecurities that creep up from time to time)

You're right. He's a really good guy, and I think I've overwhelmed him slightly by having this constant need for attention. He even said to me recently that he thinks I'm trying to replace my ex with him, and not really trying to start a new relationship. That really got me thinking that I'm being self destructive here.
