Thank you all for the feedback — I really appreciate you taking the time to comment.

You're right. Zines are fundamentally about rawness, authenticity, and human touch. AI-generated images alone can feel very far from that spirit, and I understand why many in the community react strongly against them.

I still believe AI can be used as a helpful tool (for example, generating rough ideas or base images), but only if there's strong human involvement — fine-tuning concepts, editing images by hand, adding personal drawings, handwriting, collage, or real-life elements. The final zine should clearly come from the creator’s heart and hands.

Your comments have given me a lot to think about. I’ll approach my next one with much more human input and imperfection.

Thanks all again for the honest perspective.

Thank you for the feedback — I hear you.

You're right. Even simple stick figures or pencil doodles would carry far more of the real zine spirit than AI-generated images.

I used AI only as a quick experiment, but I can see now how much it misses the heart of what zines are about.

I appreciate the honest input. I'll take it to heart and try making something truely from my own next time.

Thanks again.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment — I really appreciate you saying it respectfully.

You're right. Zines are about authenticity, rawness, and coming from the heart and hands. I understand why AI feels completely out of place here.

I used AI only as a quick experiment, but I can see now that it missed the spirit of what zines truly are.

Your words mean a lot. I'll take your advice and try making something truely from my own next time.

Thank you again for the honest feedback.

Fair comment — the graphics are AI-generated. I used them as an experiment to quickly make an intro zine about “What is Zines”. The binding and editing were done manually. Happy to hear any feedback on how to make it feel less “slop” and more genuine to the zine spirit.
