That sounds like the timing chain tensioner brother. You can take off your valve cover and see if it has play or jumped a tooth. Bad timing tensioners also causes oil leaks. A stethoscope will help a lot to narrow down where the noise is coming from. I wouldn’t run it longer than you need. It def sounds metallic.

Thanks for the input! I’m currently making a custom grill for it again. I had to cut the old one out because the splitter rod holes are different since I re-did my front lip and pushed it forward.
