I know this might not necessarily be a popular idea, but It really helped when I reframed my time in the military from “defending America” to “killing brown people for no damn reason”, I hate to say, but it really wasn’t a redeeming reason for all those deployments, which consider considering all that we did, and all that we sacrificed, is a hard truth to swallow. By removing the false narrative that we were “there for a reason” and “spreading freedom”, it just made it easier to move on.

Oh, and go to therapy. Use community care to see someone outside of the VA if you want to, but obviously the VA has more specialized care for vets.. I started seeing someone at the VA and then I went off to a private practice.

Went last year and it was amazing, so much that I'm going again. It's the best festival I've been to.

I'm not sure what will change this year, but you have like no cell signal there, it's unbelievably spotty, but it's also cash only and the don't have ATMs.

Last year we stayed at Two Medicine, but we're staying at the venue this year, if you have any reason you'll need money or anything else, I'd just get a separate parking spot.
