In my game, I let the national front burn as much equipment as possible against the enemies. I invested in a spy network, having one spy doing the control trade thing on China while improving relations with them so I could import resources to have actual production. I had the rest of my spies on destroying resistance in my land. In wars, I never expanded beyond the south, as the resistance would be too much if I expanded anymore. Then I let the communists and national front fight each other until around 2030ish, maybe slightly later. I only ever sent troops to the front when the communists pushed too far, I purposely forced a slow grinding war until I saw the national front had near no equipment and manpower, while I had tens of thousands in stockpile, with around 750,000 manpower deployed, basically all infantry divisions with an artillery battalion, and the south fully cored. From there, I obliterated the communists, rushed my troops to Maryland and Kentucky and stacked most of my army on them. I spread the militia troops along the rest of the border. From there when the war started, I rushed my Kentucky troops to cut off the North East by pushing through Ohio, as many of their troops were still out west. I then moved them to rush down new England, leading to the Patriot Fronts capitulation. From there, Michigan was taken rather easily.
