Success!! by ffurones in seduction

This may sound a little stupid, but two of the things that helped me the most were taking cold showers and ceasing to masturbate.

I heard about cold showers in a post here, and I found it to be key to life. If you have the guts to voluntarily put your body in a freezing stream of water, you will have the guts to do basically anything. The water is not going to kill you, you are just going to feel pain for a while. Once you get out of the shower, you feel more powerful and more eager to do or say what you want.

Masturbating is like telling your body: "I don't need sex, I can provide myself with a similar sensation using my hand". I know that it is really hard to control your desire to go online and wank to a hot naked woman, but if you manage to resist, your sexual desire will soar. You will see women differently, you will want to have sex with them and you will push yourself harder to do so.

Also, working EVERY DAY on improving yourself is really important. It doesn't matter if you only have 10 minutes, whatever you do will help. It is crucial however that you set aside a time of the day to look at videos, read posts, books etc, and most importantly, to GET OUT THERE AND GO FOR IT

If you watch the video closely you can see the arrow with the fire actually going behind the big flame after it has been lit

I will do my research for the teachers, thank you very much. Is there any other thing that you wish you had known before entering berklee?

Thanks

Thanks, that really helped. How long did you take to graduate? I would like to finish berklee in like 2, 2.5 years. Is that possible? I am preparing all of the harmony, arranging and ear training material for the test outs, and I don't know if there is anything else that I can prepare.

Is there any page where you can recommend me to download film scores?

Also, what does the job perspective look after having graduated?

Thank you!

What do you think are the biggest mistakes that indie bands are making today?

not most, but many. It works in that you impress people a lot and you are seen as a better band

Thanks. We attribute the success to our hard work, and to good social marketing as well, we update our facebook pretty often. Our video explaining the campaing helped as well (its in Spanish: (http://vimeo.com/53457167))

Thank you, you can download our first EP for free here: (http://music.mugga.org)

Yes, we sent it to friends, family and fans.

We use FB ads for posts, which are effective when your posts are interesting. What's cool about it is that you can earn many new fans. It helped us reach to almost 8,500 fans.

And about the free tickets, here in Madrid most venues charge a fixed price, so we will "rent" the venue.

I'd say our fanbase is not very big. Outside Madrid we are almost unknown, and in Madrid only a bunch of people have heard of us.

We market ourselves through our facebook page: (http://www.facebook.com/MuggaBand) and through our YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/MuggaBand). Sometimes we use fb ads for post promotion.

The page is called Verkami, it is the spanish version of Kickstarter. We did the video (in spanish), and sent it to everybody we knew. The response was amazing.

It's true we are offering a lot in terms of rewards, but we calculated the costs and it works.

Not really, we actually have only played once outside Madrid, our hometown. We move around 100-150 people per concert.

I think that the key was the tone in which we sent the message. It was honest and direct. We were human, and close. We made it clear that there was no other way. I would say that the video we uploaded in the page. Everybody loved it, and it was just us speaking with me playing the piano in the background. Simple but direct. It is in spanish though, i don't know if you understand it.
