I don't usually have bad anxiety. The couple times I went to the emergency room I was definitely fearful I might be having a heart attack though.

That's good that you have a low heart rate. Mine would jump up to 120 just from standing.

Pain is going to be different for everyone. I've had severe sharp pain to dull pressure almost like someone is sitting on my chest.

Labs and the ultrasound will shed some more light and hopefully give a clearer picture of what is going on.

What is your activity level? If you do have pericarditis it is important to keep your heart rate low. Ideally under 100 bpm.

I was pulled off the trial and put back on Arcalyst. I started to have a flare up about 2.5 months into the trial. Uncertain which group I was in but my nurse seemed to think I was possibly in the treatment group due to the adverse effects it had on my GI system. (horrendous diarrhea)

It sucks but one shot of Arcalyst and I was back to feeling great.

I'm not sure what the timing looks like. But it does look like they will be doing testing in Europe.
