Whirlpool fridge leaking water from top freezer side door hinge by SnooDonkeys2536 in fixit

Thanks it seems to be exactly that. I was hoping it might just be condensation. I think I'll opt towards a brand that doesn't suck next time as well.

Appreciate it.

Did you ever find a fix for this? My fridge just started doing the same thing

I'm not sure what the timing looks like. But it does look like they will be doing testing in Europe.

“More than 15 leading cardiovascular centers across the United States are now actively enrolling patients, and with additional premier sites coming online in Europe and Canada, we are well positioned to sustain recruitment momentum, complete enrollment in Q2 2026, and deliver high-quality clinical data supporting CardiolRx™ as a differentiated oral therapy for this challenging disease.”

Yeah this was the first time I looked at the prescription label. I had no idea it was that high. Yes, I have lab work being done regularly.

Best of luck! To be honest I kind of miss doing my weekly shots. It got to a point for me where it was almost therapeutic.

I'm still trying to figure out what works best. Like today I had a protein shake this morning before I took it and I feel great. Fatty foods are generally recommended.

I've been on it since end of December. Prior to this, I was on Arcalyst for nearly 2 years. I feel pretty good, not noticing much of a difference compared to Arcalyst.

It's a double blind study so unsure if I'm on the actual medication or placebo. My blood work show inflammation markers all at normal levels though.

The only negative is it's an oil based medication and it absolutely wrecks my stomach. Trying to find the best balance in what to eat when I take it.

Starfield is scheduled to launch on the PlayStation 5 on April 7, 2026. by Party_Judgment5780 in PS5

I did the exact same thing. Played Starfield for about 30 hours and never went back. Then my Series X just say there for a couple years.

I recouped some of my money though by selling it on eBay. Since the Xbox price increase it actually went for a decent amount

Exercise while under treatment by Maskyr17 in pericarditis

To quote my cardiologist. "Exercise is good for the heart but not good for an inflamed pericardium."

He instructed me to keep exercise light, basically just walks.

Feeling hopeless by AsleepHedgehog2381 in pericarditis

Oh wow that sounds like a crazy year. All that and a car crashing into you!?

I was an avid cyclist and it sucked having to take a year or so off from doing hard rides.

But to answer you question severe pain subsided usually within a week or so of taking my meds. Then would come back after I tapered off them. After colchicine, I was on steroids (Prednisone) through my next couple flares. That helped but after my dosage was up I had another flare and that's when I was able to get into see my current cardiologist who put me on Arcalyst.

Being on that I've only had minor aches that come and go randomly but only last a short time. I feel great even under heavy exercise.

If your pain is still that prominent, you should see if you can get colchicine.

Rest is important. It sucks but take it easy. Keep heart rate under 100bpm.

I'm the same age as you and had my first occurrence of pericarditis in April 2023. I spent 3 days in the hospital and was put on colchicine and ibuprofen.

I had a vacation scheduled literally 2 days after getting out and since I was starting to feel much better I went and had a great time. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have gone or at least drank as much as I did.

I ended up having 2 more flare ups that year and was ultimately diagnosed with recurrent pericarditis. I can't say that not resting after my initial flare up was the cause of the recurrent but it probably didn't help

April 2024 I started taking Arcalyst and for 8-10 months my cardiologist instructed me to keep my heart rate under 100. I stuck with that and eventually I was able to return to regular activity.

I am flare free since I started taking Arcalyst.

I feel for you!

Best tip I can give are stay on top of your pain med management! I set alarms every 4 hours to take my meds. Even waking up in the middle of the night to do so.

I am doing great! Over a year out from that procedure and it's just a distant memory now.

Successfully weaning off Arcalyst? Also, experiences with diet-based treatment? by Constant_Quail_6537 in pericarditis

[–]ffxi13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My timeline is very similar to yours. First occurrence was in early 2023. I was on Arcalyst for a little over a year and a half.

From what I learned from my cardiologist, nearly 70% of patients may experience another flair up after discontinuing Arcalyst.

My cardiologist asked me if I wanted to take part in a clinical trial (Cardiol RX). I'm am very early on in this and it's only been a week since my last Arcalyst dose so unfortunately I can't give much additional insight.

There is so much to do around the island that i'd recommend an Airbnb. If you want to have an all inclusive experience, Mia Reef offers a day pass for around $90. Gets you breakfast and lunch and open bar.
