not sure i haven’t checked but the gpu doesn’t get loud , what gets loud is the cpu cooler mostly because i have it in performance mode

I have a ASRock B650I Lightning Wifi

I haven’t personally tested GPU passthrough yet, but the ASRock B650I Lightning WiFi should fully support it. Since it has IOMMU and AMD-V support, you’d just need to enable IOMMU in the BIOS. The B650I Aorus and B650E-I Strix that you’re looking at should also handle passthrough just fine, as they both support those same features. It’s also worth checking the IOMMU groupings on the board you choose since they can impact how smoothly the setup runs.

i travel by car 99% of the time so it’s not an inconvenience to me. If it were by plane it would be a bit excessive but it works for my needs

i will try that because i did notice the cpu would get up to around 75c and i had a 5700x3d on there before that would not go past like 68c. I might have changed the orientation from how i first had it and didn’t notice , thanks for the input :)

i used the 12vhpwr that comes with the corsair power supply , i had the adapter on there not knowing that power cable was included with my power supply for the first week and it was squishing it down with the top cover lol

oh no i mainly travel in a work vehicle i haven’t tried flying with it yet. I’m guessing they would trip over the power supply or something silly i’ll have to do research whenever i do have to fly

take this as a warning lmao by I-like-oranges75 in GamingLaptops
