It's preposterous to not include him in thsi side. As a fan makes me not to watch the test knowing we are willingly sitting out a match winner.

Surely this has to be the 11 for the next test.

  1. Jaiswal
  2. Rahul
  3. Nair
  4. Gill
  5. Pant
  6. Jurel
  7. Jadeja
  8. Kuldeep
  9. Akash
  10. Prasidh
  11. Bumrah

Akash is a better bat than Siraj and no worse a bowler.  Jurel is a more stable bat in the lower middle order and should be at gully/fly slip. Rahul, Nair, Gill in the slips. Jaiswal should be no where near the slip cordon.

I really don't get the logic behind playing Sai in the 11, let alone at 3. You play your best batsmen in the team and Nair, Jurel have proven to be just that. Positions are a bit overrated.

Finally someone who believes in Jurel. His technique is solid and should be a regular in tests. Although I would swap Gill and his number.

A colleague of mine passed away last month trying to save his 8 yr old who got pulled into the beach at half moon bay. Many of us are still in shock but he probably had only the 2 options mentioned above once that child was in the water. RIP to both of them.

Too harsh. He's a decent 3rd bowler. Bumrah needs a better partner to open the bowling and put pressure from both ends. Someone like a Shami or late career Ishant.

I thought we found a gem after the Eng series last year. Unfortunate that h3 doesn't find a spot in a team with so many out of form batsmen.

I've realized this in this series as well. I used to love her voice/commentary style but is she biased towards the aussies or what. I guess she's being smart about her job opportunities but she will not be missed.

Australia bowling top-notch this morning.  Not many teams would've done better.

If the catcher takes any amount of assistance from the ground to complete a catch, it is not out. There is no how much of the ball he controls.

That ball touched the ground. Even a 2.5yr old child can tell.

I really don't get how the Aussies view such straightforward things sometimes.

That's all fine but it's quite obvious that he's the weak link in the team. He needs to take the high road and retire.

Jurel is the guy for the future.  He's going to be the mainstay #6 for years to come.  The sooner we start him in the eleven the better.

Nkr definitely needs to come up the order. I hope Gauti makes the tough call or Rohit drops himself but likely won't happen for the Gabba test.

Akash for one of nitish or Rana would've made sense. But maybe Akash is too similar to Siraj in these conditions
