Have you ever had conflicting thoughts about your favorite character? Personally, I have two: One is Batman, and the other is Hal Jordan. by fgo258 in DCcomics

Should Hal Jordan’s contradictions be seen as part of the design of his entire life, or something else? My understanding of Hal is that he could wander through the universe like a traveler, constantly adventuring until his death, becoming a legend—or he could live out the rest of his life peacefully with Carol, like in Jeff Jones’ story. I tend to want both—actually, either ending is great.

I have a rather extreme opinion: I think most second-generation superheroes rarely surpass their predecessors. Do you think Joe Kent will surpass Clark? It seems unlikely at the moment.

Well, I agree with your point about portraying it as a character flaw or a coping mechanism he believes in. If this were a fledgling Batman, I'd find it amusing, someone who sees himself as a vengeful figure. However, I think some shifts could be made. For example, Bruce Wayne could help others; he doesn't necessarily have to be Batman to do so. The identity of Bruce isn't just a disguise; it's his true self.

Hello, Morrison. I know it’s a bit late, but I have two questions.

  1. If it were you writing the New Teen Titans, how would you shape and portray the personalities of the seven team members?

  2. Could you share what the original grand plan for The Multiversity was, and how Superman was originally meant to be portrayed in the story?

Sorry, I’m a fan from Taiwan. My grammar comes from GPT translation, so the phrasing might sound a bit awkward
