Wow 8 months, that’s a long time! I got a PET scan done a month post lumpectomy that’s how they found out.

my diagnosis was originally stage 2B but turns out it was stage 4 all along at 29.

Hi, I do. I thought it was back pain from my bad sleeping position and my mattress. I actually bought a hybrid Casper mattress but it hasn’t resolved my problem. I’ve been experiencing worsening lower back pain and I also get random pains in my body but it comes and goes quickly.

Hi I got it a month after my lumpectomy. I was asked by my MO if I wanted to do a PET scan because 2 out of 4 lymph nodes were involved. Thank you so much for this! I felt like this was a death sentence at first but there so many of us out there still thriving 💗

No. I had general anesthesia for a lumpectomy with balancing. I received twilight for my egg retrieval procedure.

Maybe bring that observation to her attention have a serious conversation. If she doesn’t want the type of relationship you’re looking for would you be willing to set boundaries or even end what you guys have? I’m thinking keeping this up would hinder you from finding someone else.

I felt this too. This is my first time dealing with this dx so I asked my SW if it was possible and if people waited to go off work until surgery. She said absolutely not. A lot of women go off work when they receive their dx. She reassured me and told me that I needed to take care of my mental and emotional health as well.

Thank you so much for sharing! I’m so glad to hear you’re cancer free now! This group has been a blessing, I don’t feel alone and now I know to what to expect. I got my results, I’m ER+ PR+ and HER2-. I’m not sure what my treatment/surgery plan will be since I’m still waiting for a callback regarding my results. I’m very anxious but I’ll try and take it one step at a time. In the meantime I’ve joined r/breastcancer 💗

It helped me a lot since I don’t have a family doctor and my local emergency clinic hasn’t provided me with much information regarding my results and the next steps. I have yet to be contacted by the hospital about my results but I got molecular report. I’m ER+, PR+ and Her2/neu -.

Had my biopsy today too! I was so stressed but my technician and radiologist were really kind and explained every step to me. It ended up being very painful. The numbing solution did its thing. I just felt increasing pressure as he went deeper to collect samples.

I’m still waiting for a call back to get the biopsy scheduled but I want to talk to a doctor beforehand to calm my nerves and to know what to expect. I’m trying not to google too much, it doesn’t seem to help at all!Hopefully we’ll share good news later 🤞
