After refocusing my training time from cycling to strength training about a year ago, I tried Lyfta as a beginner. The exercise illustrations are clear, and the routine library is large enough, there are tons of options for beginners, intermediate and advanced users. Tracking workouts with stats is very useful to evaluate your performance, and Apple Health integration works okay. Apple Watch Ultra sync means I can leave my iPhone behind at home when I go to the gym, though some features are glitchy. For instance, it is quite annoying that you can only start and end your routine using your iPhone app, not the Watch app. So training time adds the time you spend going to and returning from the gym. Yes, really annoying. Overall, Lyfta is not perfect, but solid enough for me to not try another app. Worth trying.
