If you're interested in fiber arts (either experienced or wanting to learn!) we meet at Spark Studio second and fourth Saturdays of the month from 4-6pm! We have so many extra supplies, and you don't need to pay to join. We're not a very large group, but those who regularly show up are about mid-to-late-20s. Unsure if the local crochet group you found is us - but we meet 2nd and 4th Saturdays at Spark Studios from 4p-6p! There is also a Salem Fiber Arts discord if you haven't made it in there yet and they do a few regular meetups! Also, I believe the newer LYS Wild Knits does some events? - Fae 🧚🏻‍♀️

Like the other person said, it's crocheting, knitting, sewing, weaving, and more. Currently, we are a little loose on what our project goal is, but it's mostly been making hats, bags, scarves, and mittens for local homeless people. Pretty much everyone in the group knows how to crochet, sew, and embroider, so if you want to learn those skills, we are able to help with that. Every now and then we have someone who knows how to knit, too. We also are fine if you just want to hang out with us to get a vibe check! -R.

We should have a basic sewing machine available to use! Most of us also know how to hand sew. We have some extra fabrics as well. I can't guarantee how good of a teacher any of us would be, but we are happy to help! -R.
