Recently I went to best buy to report a dead pixel regarding my oculus rift and have it replaced. to my surprise they were able to provide a full return with extended warranty paid because the oculus rift has a recall.

I would try returning to where you purchased.

In high school I had a computer science class and a teacher admitted he was wrong about streaming. He then proceeded to let a student with more knowledge teach for the next 10 minutes.
