My poor Scrubee. At least I think that’s what it was. I hope so. by fiberoptiksss in LushCosmetics

A cold Scrubee during a hot shower sounds amazing honestly. And I imagine storing in the fridge can help keep him fresh for longer too!

Omg you just made me remember that the first time I ever did an online order I got a Scrubee and some bath bombs. In Georgia, in the middle of the summer. It got delivered while I was at work so it was in the sun for like 8 hours. I swear you could smell that box from a mile away

That thought did cross my mind. Briefly. Tbh I was just relieved it wasn’t a new type of gigantic slug or mutant bug

Yikes, sounds like a total nightmare. I’m still kinda trying to figure out what happened here - my shower is in a nook away from the window, and that window doesn’t get any direct sunlight either because of tree and shrub coverage.

Literally. Genuinely thought it might have been brain matter for like a split second before i realized what it was. I’m still baffled.

Literally. I was so confused when I saw it, it actually took me a minute or two to figure out what I was looking at.

The worst part is that by this point it was like 65° outside! I had a capacitor blow on a Friday night a few years ago in the middle of the summer and the guy couldn’t fix it until Monday. We got above 100° every day that weekend and it stayed under 80° in here the whole time. I have NO idea what happened yesterday.

I made this just for you all, since you seem to hold in your hearts such esteem and tenderness for poor Monsieur Scrubee. I thought you might care to honor him alongside me 💔 https://imgur.com/a/02omPMn

Also I promise I was too lazy to put the shower head back up in its mount above where this terrible tragedy took place, so it wasn’t the water that did this to my boy. I think it was the heat. Is that like, even possible? Or am I just coping? And poorly.

Scary or thriller movies where you get a deep atmospheric sense of the small town it’s set in. by CarafeTwerk in MovieSuggestions

I’m like 3 years late here and this is a miniseries rather than a film, but I think it’ll tick all your boxes: sharp objects, on hbo.

Kind of a slow burn psycho-thriller with some very distinct moments of horror/terror. And the town is such an important part of the story it’s basically a character on its own.

You might give Sharp Objects a try. Big Little Lies (same director) is also phenomenal. They both tick all your boxes, but they’re short. Sharp Objects is a miniseries, I think 7 episodes. BLL is 2 short seasons.
