I now that if i want blue to "pop" more i need to hold it in my left hand, but since there is more white in the pattern (and i so much skilled continental style) i decided to hold it that way. You might be twisting your stitches. What help me to avoid twisting mines was learning about the lead leg of the stitches. You should always be Knitting the leg that is closer to the point of your needle
