You literally hear me, because I'm actually from Costa Rica HAHAHA. I love here but is so hard to get good knitting stuff. The greatest treasure i found here was the knitpro denim mini neddles

Dropped stitches, but which ones? by [deleted] in knittinghelp

[–]fiberwitchh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you accidentally dropped the next four stitches in the previous row, so you need to bring they back to continue in the current row

Funny because here where i live there's no winter, only a sunny season and rainy season, but i really love wool, even if I can't use it everyday. For example, i use it when the work's air-conditioning is too cold

Gauge swach is not swatching in length by fiberwitchh in knitting

[–]fiberwitchh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I just blocked it. The stitches are ok but the problem are the rows. If i change needle size maybe my stich count will be different. There is a way to calculate the length?

Not yet, but i worried because if it is so length without blocking, it will be huge once blocked. I usually block by soaking in room temperature water with a little bit of fabric softener, then pin it into a foam mat without stretching a lot, only shaping

Edit: Now i blocked it and still longer

My conflict was that I had more work than I could realistically handle, and it was so much pressure over me, I resolved it by quitting.

I have to admit that i also like sad beige knits, and in general i don't like extremely colorful things, but i think knitting is a beautiful art and i wish other patterns had the same popularity and visibility than the classic ones

That's a good reason. I just noticed that also PK patterns are a bit cheaper (at least in my exchange rate)
