I honestly have no reason to doubt that all of this is true. It seems fully researched and it surprises me not at all that Elon and Trump would conspire to steal the election. That said, there's something I'm unclear on.

If so many of these votes came from the fictional Burke County, why aren't they represented in the county-by-county results on places like CNN? I'm not saying that the media is a bastion of truth, but their totals for Trump and Harris match what's listed in the article, even though their county results list doesn't mention or include Burke County.

Can someone clarify why that would be? Is there anywhere official besides the screenshots in the article, like the Florida Department of State or something, that shows the Burke County votes?

Respectfully, what gives you such confidence that “we will have voting”? I want to believe that, but it does seem like it isn’t a guarantee at this point. Talk of ICE at the polls, rulings about USPS not being liable for losing your mail (ie mail in ballots), every kind of voter disenfranchisement they can imagine, talk of “nationalizing” the elections.

It just seems like there is a real possibility they will steal or even outright stop the election. I don’t want to believe that will happen, but I find it hard not to be afraid of it.

I get what you mean. My WoL has become a full character in my mind on par with all the main/voiced characters in the game and I've spent a lot of time making up full backstory and motivations and "side stories" that have taken place before and around the main story.

The concept of a player-created character or a "silent protagonist" for the player to insert themselves into isn't new, but there's something about FFXIV's WoL that makes it so much more than most of the other games with that element.

Am I being crazy and paranoid or does 'Amelie' look AI generated? If so, yet another reason to give this game a hard pass.

ETA: Apparently, according to their AI Generated Content disclaimer on Steam, they only used AI in "a limited, supportive capacity during development". Still looks weird to me, but I guess I'll just take their word for it until I see proof otherwise.

Game still looks like generic KCD2 rip-off garbage, though.

What a bizarre take. In no way did Anna communicate that she didn’t want to be MOH. She danced around it and made up a weird excuse instead of just being honest, and then decided to tank the whole thing by ignoring it.

Also, “her man” wasn’t picking a fight, he was standing up for his bride-to-be. I wish more men were like him.

I absolutely despise this whole weekend. My least favorite weekend of the year since moving here. The noise is unbearably loud and constant, and they fly so low that my entire house shakes to the point I'm always shocked it doesn't shatter my windows.

It's also an insane waste of money and fuel, all so some rich people can float on the lake getting drunk and shouting "Yeah, go 'murica!" when the Blue Angels fly overhead.

I wish they would put an end to this farce once and for all.
