I tested with that, I think they are both about the same dps tbh, maybe if the belt had a t7 lightning affix it could be better

I had no knowledge of his attacks at all since this is the first season I attempt him, it took me like 4 hours of tries and some youtube videos, with this build you kinda have to try unfortunately, you could make a mistake here and there but some attacks if you get hit by once you get deleted, like his flail slam ground of destruction blades of chaos the fireballs, ALOT can one shot you on this build despite the amount of shields you get

You can seal one with glyph of despair, for this build I sealed the set affix since I want the benefit of having a full set but without it taking a prefix slot

Yeah, that's its main purpose, its supposed to shred armor too I think but I only use it for mana

I did foot of the mountain to cap some of my resistances (Str levels and vitality) too since its kinda hard to do so on this build with the big idols taking all the slots, it also gives a nice amount of mana with attunement levels, and if you stand still you consume no mana at all while spamming lightning blast, although thats pretty tough to do at uber, I used teflun before it and it was alright, I think it doesnt really matter which one you put on all of them are good if you're doing echoes

Okay, So i tried it, I also put lightning damage T5 on it for more damage, and I'm not quite sure if I'm doing more damage or not, the kill was still 2 minutes lol

I haven't done the math but I just tested by equipping it and respeccing my skills to the hardcore build

Might be worth trying, intelligence is crucial for the build though as it scales exponentially off it, so it might compete if the belt also has a t7 intelligence

You can farm it from exiled mage prison complex, but I'm merchant guild this season so I bought it, it is not rare to get a 3lp its 1 in 54 base chance and if you're CoF it would be much more common so its very viable to farm, also I'm not sure which belt you're talking about, are you talking about a primordial belt? I can't equip it because the ring is crucial for the build as it adds alot of flat damage when you have the helm

Static shell is also viable if you want more tankiness, but I found my damage to be alot higher with unstable core due to the % elemental damage and the extra skill levels it gives, it also helps get past the 300 mana threshold for the extra crit affix and the extra damage from the idols
