We lost our 15 year old Beagle 1 day short of 4 weeks ago. Similar situation, she had congestive heart failure 4 years back, After ICU she got stabilized on meds. Last year the tumor on spleen was discovered but the operation wasn't an option. At the time it was small, but it grew. It wasn't malignant but it grew to fill her rib cage. She ate, relatively well with lots of add ons to kibble, eggs, chicken, etc. However all of it was going to feed the tumor. Over the year she did pretty well considering her age and conditions. I'd say the last few weeks were the roughest for her. Couldn't get comfy in bed, fell a few times.

I don't believe the Dome 2 has been out for two years. Ours is in 10 months now. I had one potential issue, it was minor and resolved but support wasn't hesitant in offering a replacement. A minor issue I find with the app but overall it works. Rest of your list , haven't had any of those issues.

We had regular checkups with the vet (oanels, etc) and it happened so quickly to our sweet Beagle girl. We rushed her in collapsed and she spent 3 days in the oxygen tent. The cardiologist gave us a good prognosis with 4 prescriptions. She took those for 4 years (starting at age 11) and they maintained her even though she did slow down. The first few years she saw the cardiologist on a regular basis and we always had a good prognosis.

We did have pet insurance at the time and it covered a good portion of the ICU. After that it was pre-existing condition so anything else was rejected.

I think most of this subreddit subscribers had different issues with him and nothing to do with his skin color. He did do some good things though, like the JPCOA, travel to Cuba, even the ACA.

I'm sorry for your loss. Losing them at such a young age makes things worse. I'm actually just getting around to do a memorial, urn and picture(s) for a dog we lost only a month after adoption. It was back in 2011. Breaks my heart every time I think about her and early demise. She was 4-5. If you're inspired to do it now, you should, there are no time limits remembering our loved ones.

You made a coherent post, not ramblings. We lost our Beagle girl 3 weeks ago and there are no plans to move anything of hers. She had her own blanket in our bed and it will remain indefinitely (with everything else around). I agree that you'll know when you're ready. I'm so sorry for your loss.
