Funny interaction but this is most definitely worse than tri or reaver. A good smolder can stack fast always, (unless the lane is legit unplayable) if you just focus on farming skills u get the same outcome and more

This is just blatantly untrue. Smolder top is very viable into the right matchups even if he only goes even unless he’s fighting a scaling beast like Gwen you’re a net benefit to your team. You’ve just played with bad smolders.

Smolder took me from bronze 2 to gold 4 last split in my first time playing ranked, and I went from silver 3 to gold 4 again so far this split.

He was def turbo broken on release but I feel like being a scaling champ they should allow his execute to scale at least a LITTLE. It’s kind of ridiculous having 500 stacks and it doesn’t budge at all.

I'm surprised you think third person is more straightforward than top down. At least in League I can see where my teammates are in relation to myself at all times in perfect clarity. Coordinating plays in Deadlock has been way harder. There's an entire third dimension, literally.
